The Rabbit is a friendly mob that spawns in the Plains, Desert, Taiga, Birch Forest, Snowy Plain biomes. Rabbits come in several colors – brown, gray, black and white, black, golden, white, toast, salt and pepper. Rabbits jump at different speeds and run away very quickly when the player attacks. A killed rabbit drops raw rabbit meat and rabbit skin, rarely a rabbit's foot, when damaged, the rabbit makes a squeak. Rabbits can be baited, fed and bred with dandelions or carrots. When a rabbit appears, it will have the same color as the parent fed first. If you plant carrots in a garden and do not fence them, then soon the rabbits will find them and ruin them.
